Sunday morning. They were so busy our waitress told us she had to hold our order before she could send it to the kitchen. Once she sent it to the kitchen food came out in about 25 minutes. We spent at least a hour and a half in the restaurant. She seemed uncomfortable telling us this and was very apologetic. Once food came it really wasn't that great. Egg whites were over cooked and hard. Hash browns were sparse and undercooked. Toast was under done. Bacon was underdone.

\This place is a true gem. The refined cuisine, combined with a lovely, classy atmosphere, makes for a memorable night every time I visit. I particularly enjoyed the dinner music, which added such a nice touch to the meal. It is definitely one of my favorite spots in the city for high-quality dining and excellent service. Big shoutout to Beth at Avantis! During rush hour at 11:00, and after waiting way too long for my table to be cleaned and for anyone to take my order, I flagged down a waitress and gave my simple order. I waited and waited, until Beth listened to my frustration patiently, then acted immediately by jumping into action. Within several minutes, I had my lunch presented to me through her efforts. While others were too consumed with keeping up with the crowd, she was able to think outside of her position and took immediate steps to rectify the situation, which would make any new owner proud. The irony occured when she conceded my generous tip for her, to the other waitress , who took my order to the kitchen. I thanked Beth very earnestly and appreciated her calm during the storm. The chef salad was amazing and brought back memories of Fergie's and Raymonds restraunts. Both were iconic,!! I'm a converted customer for life at the new Avanti's!

Stopped in for breakfast and had a solid experience. The omelette was generous and filling, stuffed well and topped with melted cheese that added great flavor. Toast was nicely browned and fresh. Portions were good and everything came out hot. Simple, classic breakfast done right. Would come back again, especially if you’re looking for a satisfying morning meal.

We stopped here for breakfast after a conference, and it was such a great choice! The waitress was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and our food came out quickly. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the menu has a huge selection of breakfast options, truly something for everyone. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area and looking for a great breakfast spot!
